What You Rate:
- Overall Rating - 1-5 stars
- Would Buy Again - Yes/No/Maybe
- Quick Notes - Optional free-form notes
When to Use:
- Casual evening pour
- Already familiar with the bottle
- Limited time
- Just want to track that you had it
How to Log (Mobile):
- Tap on a bottle in your Collection
- Tap Log Tasting
- Select Quick Pour
- Tap stars to rate
- Toggle "Would Buy Again"
- Add optional notes
- Tap Save

Full Stave Rating
A guided tasting experience that captures the complete flavor profile.
The 5-Step Wizard:
- Appearance - Color, legs, clarity
- Nose - Aroma notes and intensity
- Palate - Flavor notes and mouthfeel
- Finish - Length, character, and notes
- Overall - Final rating and impressions
When to Use:
- First time trying a bottle
- Special or expensive pours
- Comparing whiskeys side-by-side
- Building detailed tasting notes
- Contributing to community data
How to Log (Mobile):
- Tap Log Tasting on any bottle
- Select Full Stave Rating
- Swipe through each step of the wizard
- Tap flavor notes to select them
- Drag sliders to adjust Stave intensities
- Add your overall thoughts
- Tap Save

Upgrading Quick Pour to Full Rating
Changed your mind? You can expand any Quick Pour into a Full Stave Rating:
- Go to More > Tastings
- Tap on a Quick Pour tasting
- Tap Expand to Full Rating
