We're sorry to see you go. Here's what you need to know about deleting your BarrelChatter account.
What happens when you delete your account
When you delete your BarrelChatter account, the following data will be permanently removed within 30 days:
- •Your collection — All bottles in your inventory, including photos, notes, and purchase history
- •Tasting notes — All your ratings and tasting notes
- •Wishlist — Your entire wishlist
- •NFC tags — Any tags you've claimed will be released and unlinked
- •Social connections — Friends, group memberships, and shared content
- •Profile data — Your email, display name, and profile photo
- •Subscription — Any active subscription will be cancelled
This action cannot be undone. Please make sure to export your collection data before deleting if you want to keep a copy.
How to delete your account

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I recover my account after deletion?
No. Once your account is deleted, all data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. We recommend exporting your collection data before deleting.
How long does deletion take?
Your account will be deactivated immediately. All personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
What about my subscription?
Any active subscription will be automatically cancelled when you delete your account. You will not be charged again, but no refunds are provided for the current billing period.
What if I just want to take a break?
You don't need to delete your account to take a break. Your data will remain safe, and you can simply log out and return whenever you're ready. You can also cancel your subscription without deleting your account.
Can I export my data first?
Yes! We recommend exporting your collection before deleting. Go to Collection → Export in the app to download a CSV of your bottles, or contact support for a full data export.
