Guest Tastings
Logging tastings of friend's bottles via NFC.
When you taste whiskey from a friend's collection, you can log it as a "guest tasting." This links your tasting notes to their specific bottle while keeping it in your tasting history.
How Guest Tastings Work
- Your friend has an NFC tag on their bottle
- You scan the tag with your phone
- You'll see "This bottle belongs to [Friend's Name]"
- Tap Log Guest Tasting
- Enter your rating and notes
- Save the tasting
Requirements
- You must be friends with the bottle owner
- The bottle must have a linked NFC tag
- You need the mobile app (NFC required)
Finding Your Guest Tastings
Guest tastings appear in your tasting history with a "Guest" badge. You can see:
- The bottle you tasted
- Who owns it
- Your rating and notes
- When you tasted it
