Adding Friends
How to find and add friends by username, code, or QR.
Connect with other collectors to share your collections, join groups, and log guest tastings. There are several ways to add friends in BarrelChatter.
By Username
- Tap your profile avatar (top right)
- Tap Friends
- Tap Add Friend
- Enter their username
- Tap Send Request
By Friend Code
- Go to Add Friend
- Tap Enter Code
- Type the 8-character code
- Tap Send Request
By QR Code
The fastest way to add friends in person:
- Go to Add Friend
- Tap Scan QR
- Point camera at their QR code
- Request sent automatically!
Deep Link
Friends can share a link that opens directly in the app:
- They share their add-friend link
- Tap the link
- App opens with request ready to send
